Today we are accompanied by J. E. Hannaford, author of The Skin, and the recently released The Pact.
The Skin is the first book on the Black Hind’s Wake duology, by J. E. Hannaford, who recently released the second part, The Pact (actually, it is being released the same day I write this review). It is a marvelous book, an ode of love to mythology, and a really engaging story. Before diving into a review of the content, we must talk about the visual aspect of the book, as it is a beautiful book, from the cover to the end, with stunning pieces of art in each chapter, which complement perfectly the story that is narrated inside.
Today we are accompanied by G.M. White, author of the Royal Champion series.
The Swordman’s Lament is technically the first novel in the Royal Champion series, by G.M. White. Let me start this review by saying that there is a prequel novella, The Swordman’s Intent, situated 15 years before this first novel, which you can get for free by subscribing to G.M. White’s newsletter; and I highly recommend reading it before because I think it really gives another layer of enjoyment to the novel.
Today we are accompanied by E.M. Kkoulla, author of the Ships of Britannia series, a great historical fantasy work.
Wrath of Olympus is the first novel in the Ships of Britannia trilogy, by the English author E. M. Kkoulla. It makes a really interesting mix between Roman mythology, steampunk, and fantasy, and that I enjoyed so much.
Today we are accompanied by Angela Boord, crafter of big chonky books, like Fortune’s Fool, and a marvelous person.
Fortune’s Fool is the first novel in the Eterean Empire series and the first published work from Angela Boord. SPFBO5 finalist (second actually), Stabby Nominee; not going to lie, I was a little bit intimidated before starting. And I can’t be happier of reading it, because Fortune’s Fool is an authentic mastercraft.
